The New Mitsubishi Lancer

The new Mitsubishi Lancer has a choice of either a powerful, flexible 2.0 litre diesel engine with 140hp and 6-speed gearbox or a punchy and great-sounding 1.8 litre DOHC MIVEC engine featuring an aluminium block. This advanced design results in an engine that is both lightweight and powerful.

As with all the Mitsubishi range, safety is paramount. The Lancer continues this requirement. The all-new body is stronger than ever before. Its excellent dynamics and strong brakes help you keep out of trouble. And Active Stability and Traction Control makes sure of it: the Lancer can definately hold a curve. Adding to the safety equipment all Lancers come with an advanced Supplement and Restraint System (SRS) featuring a total of seven airbags as standard.

On the exterior the new Mitsubishi Lancer has been styled to look great from every angle with efficient aerodynamics – the appearance of the Lancer matches perfectly its sporty nature and great driving dynamics.
The swept-forward hood and front bumper provide smooth over and under airflow for high-speed stability and fuel economy. And accents like the rear spoiler and 18-inch alloy wheels are not just sporty, they also improve performance. |
