The Mitsubishi Shogun legend has been well established since the models introduction in 1981. Employing monocoque construction, Super Select 2 or 4 wheel drive technology and advanced direct injection engine technology, the Shogun can claim to be the most advanced 4X4 available in its class. Despite its outstanding passenger car levels of comfort, the Shogun is every bit as capable off road as it has always been.

If your lifestyle demands the ultimate traction, on-road as well as off, this is the vehicle for you. For, to enhance the Shogun's renowned go-anywhere, do-anything ability, the Shogun is fitted with Mitsubishi Active Stability and Traction Control (MASTC). The Stability Control automatically intervenes if the vehicle starts to slide, applying each brake individually to regain control. Traction Control maximises adhesion on slippery surfaces by diverting power to the wheel with the most grip, whilst simultaneously braking any wheel on the verge of spinning. And, for those who take their off-roading to the absolute limits, Mitsubishi's Engine Brake Assist Control ensures that you can rely on engine braking on even the most slippery of slopes. The Shogun is a must to drive and is available in Short Wheel Base (SWB) and Long Wheel Base (LWB) versions, the LWB carrying seven people in comfort.
