Matt Coulter, better known as The Kangaroo Kid a world-renowned Australian motorcycle stuntman, at the Moreton-in-Marsh show in Gloucestershire on Saturday 6th September 2009 was in the arena surrounded by a packed audience and over £80,000 worth of Mitsubishis to jump, which were supplied by Firs Garage, Hook Norton (an uninsurable risk given the type of event).
Matt on the 2 nd jump, with a momentary loss of concentration hit the roof of the last vehicle causing severe damage and very nearly flipped himself and the quad. However, with 20 years' of experience, Matt skilfully managed to land just winding himself. At Firs Garage, we're just relieved that Matt was not seriously hurt.
Matt says it was “in return for England winning back the Ashes!” We're not so sure!
