On display by Mitsubishi at the Geneva Motor Show, the exciting concept vehicle, the new Mitsubishi Sport Utility Hybrid Truck.
And while it might not be on its way to your showrooms just yet, it provides a fascinating glimpse of the future – Mitsubishi-style.
The company says it’s ‘rugged, handsome and eminently usable’. It was developed as a conceptual successor to Mitsubishi’s long line of one-tonne pick-ups, which have been winning fans and awards galore since the 1970s.
The new concept continues the tradition, with a strong dose of aerodynamic chunkiness introduced to avoid the ‘square-rigged’ look that seems to prevail in the segment.
Whilst concept vehicles often look very different to those that finally reach production it is interesting and exciting to see concept vehicles as they evolve through their development.
