Mitsubishi Matters press release dated 02 May 2014:
A MITSUBISHI dealership in Oxfordshire is getting ready to welcome thousands of visitors to this year’s Mitsubishi Motors Badminton Horse Trials.
Family-run Firs Garage, in Hook Norton, will be representing the brand at the event, which is expecting 200,000 people through the gates between Wednesday, May 7th and Sunday, May 11th. Held at Badminton House, in Gloucestershire, the Mitsubishi Motors Badminton Horse Trials attracts some of the world’s leading riders, all hungry for the title and is shown live on the BBC. And it will be a busy time for Dean Wood, Dealer Principal at Firs Garage, and his team.
Dean said: “As a dealership we have previously attended the Mitsubishi Motors Badminton Horse Trials and we’re really looking forward to the event. It’s always a fantastic few days. It’s very busy and hard work but always enjoyable and we look forward to catching up with many of our customers who we know will be there and meeting new faces.”
Mitsubishi Brand Ambassadors, Olympic equestrian Mary King and her daughter Emily, will be signing autographs at the Mitsubishi stand, as will another Mitsubishi Brand Ambassador, celebrity chef Rosemary Shrager.
Mitsubishi Motors in the UK has been the title sponsor of the Badminton Horse Trials since 1992. This year the course has a new designer for the first time in 25 years. Giuseppe Della Chiesa has attempted to produce a cross-country phase which asks all the technical questions demanded in the current era of the sport but still possesses the feel and look of Badminton’s past.
Badminton Horse Trials is a fantastic day out, please visit the Mitsubishi stand and browse the latest vehicle range and meet some of the Firs Garage team.
